Product Description

Looking for a simple, portable walking treadmill? Turn to the LifeSpan TR200 Fold 'n' Stor folding treadmill, which collapses quickly and fits easily under a bed or stands up in a closet or behind a door.

The blue LCD console tracks your time, distance, calories, and more.
The TR200--which comes fully assembled and is ready to use right out of the box--is outfitted with a blue LCD console that tracks your time, calories, distance, steps, heart rate, speed, and incline level. As a result, it's a breeze to track your workout progress with every routine by viewing the simultaneous readouts and exercise program profile.

The treadmill also includes such controls as an easy-to-use start button, up/down arrow keys, and quick-start speed and incline buttons. The speed and incline buttons are particularly handy, with options on each side of the console display that let you skip directly to 3, 4, 5, or 6 miles per hour or incline level 4, 6, 8, or 10. And to make your workouts more efficient, the console offers six exercise programs that help you vary your exercise routine--a critical factor for people trying to get in shape.

Other features include built-in speakers and a headphone port for plugging in your iPod or MP3 player and contact heart rate grips.

Customer Rating:
Summary: Very happy with this treadmill
Comment:
It probably deserves 5 stars, but due to the bolt-hole redrilling, I gave it 4 stars. This came quickly, the price was very competitive, was easy to assemble (a big selling point), folds up easily, and performs well. The company returned my call within 2 hours when I was put on hold with a question. As others have found, there was one bolt hole on the right side that was not drilled properly and had to be redrilled which was a slight nuisance. There is a video online which better explains the lubrication and adjustment processes which I strongly recommend viewing. Overall very pleased.

Summary: Does exactly what I want where I want!
Comment:
It's small and compact, fits neatly in between a dresser and a bed in the guest room, and I can fold it up and put it in the closet when guests use the room. Came assembled and ready to go. As it happened one of those little bags of silicon crystals, used in shipping, had broken in the delivery process. The stuff got underneath the running belt surface. I mention this only to point out that the company was very efficient about replacing the belt. Sent it and a repairman to my house and the treadmill was good to go. It's good to know the company is ready to do that sort of thing. Obviously, it was a random thing, not a defect in the machine. Two caveats about the machine. First, though it is small and light for a treadmill, it isn't that light in the hands a small person trying to fold it up and put it away (it does have wheels for moving). So if you're small and expect to do that often, you might want help from a second person. Second, because it is small, the incline, which has 10 levels, doesn't incline as much as a larger machine. Just not enough room in the mechanism. But at the higher levels it certainly mimics a modest hill. Overall, a nice package that delivers what it advertises.

Customer Rating:
Summary: Good, Lightweight and Small Footprint
Comment:
I purchased this treadmill to use under a TrekDesk, so I will be mostly walking on it.

Lightweight is relative. It is still heavy, but manageable. It is lighter than the other treadmills I considered.

The only problem I have had with it is that the plastic film over the controls is curling a bit.

Good buy.

Customer Rating:
Summary: Pretty darn near perfect!
Comment:
I bought this treadmill to keep up with my exercise program during the hot summer months, and when the pollen was too thick. I bought it sight unseen based on reviews on Amazon (and now I am paying back the courtesy). I paid the extra money for a treadmill that required absolutely no assembly, and I have no regrets about that, at all! Better an extra $100 or $200 in convenience than $300 or $400 in marital counseling I say!

As for the treadmill itself, I only have two criticisms. The actual walking span is a tad bit narrow. Twice, in my first week, I slipped off and had to catch myself (but was able to recover just fine). I must have a wide walking stride or something, because it is a fairly generous walking surface. Now I walk with one hand on the bar at all times, and have had no further problems. The second problem is that I smell a slight rubber odor when I have walked more than 25 minutes at 3.6 speed (0 incline). I do this several times a week. I am not sure if it is from the need for the oil lubricant (which I came to this site to buy), or something else. I will try the oil first and then possibly the mat, although I put my treadmill on non-carpeted floor (as recommended).

Otherwise, this has been an excellent purchase that I am very happy I made. Sure, I could have asked around to the neighbors for an old treadmill stuck in their basement, but I wanted one that was relatively lightweight, folded up (although mine has yet to be folded), had good speed and incline capabilities, and a warranty.

Customer Rating:
Summary: portable and great for walking
Comment:
This treadmill is portable, folds up easily (although heavy) My only complaint is the rubber smell that started after a month or so of using it 3-4 times a week for 20-30 minutes. We bought the lubricant and used it several times but still get that smell after about 15 minutes. It is good for walking/power walking but not jogging/running. Speakers are tinty and noisy when hooked up to my MP3 so I don't use that feature. It is very simple to use and set up! It is perfect for limited space or when you need to put it away. I stand mine up vertically in a corner of my office. Price was good and fast shipping.
